Text Messaging Tool
Text messaging is one of the cool things about all this fancy digital cell phone technology. But every seems to have a different carrier. How does one know how to page another? Have no fear, Yahoo is here with their super-duper all-in-one-text-messaging application. Just enter the phone number of your cell phone enabled pal, select the carrier if you know (or let Yahoo find it if you don't) and voila, a cool little text page has been sent. I am fortunate to have unlimited text paging but some rate plans out there don't and you may be sending a page to a friend, as well as a 10 or 15 cent charge, so I would ask first. But hey, we all need yet another way to reach and touch each other, don't we?
