Supreme Court Appointees Lining Up
The New York Times is reporting today that a campaign among the political right and the political left is brewing over the selection of a US Supreme Court Justice. The talk is that one or perhaps two Supreme Court Justices are expected to retire this year after the court adjourns in June. If you like freedom, if you like to be in control of your uterus, if you think the Patriot Act goes too far, if you think Ashcroft is taking the Justice Department down very dangerous roads, I suggest you follow this debate and be prepared when Renquist, O'Connor or Bader-Ginsberg retires. All three are old and fighting off cancer and at least one of them and perhaps two are expected to hang up their robes, according the gossip along the Potomac.
